Cloud Data Engine is pleased to invite European defence stakeholders to a dedicated webinar presenting the results of the Defence AI Data Space (DAIDS) Blueprint. This webinar will showcase the outcomes of a joint effort led by Sopra Steria, the CEA and Cloud Data Engine, conducted in close collaboration with the European Defence Agency (EDA).
The Defence AI Data Space is a strategic initiative developed in the context of the EDA AI Action Plan. Its objective is to enable secure, efficient and standardised sharing of defence-related data across European Member States, the EDA and industry partners. It supports AI-driven capability development, innovation and operational decision-making, while ensuring interoperability, data sovereignty and compliance with ethical and legal standards.
The DAIDS Blueprint is the result of a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach combining workshops and consultations with Member States, industry and EU agencies, analysis of operational needs and interoperability requirements, and alignment with data governance and AI ethics frameworks. This work provides a solid foundation for future implementation, grounded in real-world defence priorities and trust-by-design principles.
During the webinar, Sopra Steria, Cloud Data Engine and the CEA will jointly present the key results of the Blueprint, including its alignment with EU defence strategy, key defence requirements, architectural principles, identified AI use cases, and the proposed business and governance model. The session will also outline next steps and opportunities for continued engagement.
